i have had two very interesting yet weird experiences in the last couple of years, and would like some opinions on them.. i had a customer come into my store about 1 1/2 years ago.

No, we were all busy watching pornos at the time. Actually, that's about all we ever do up here any more since Jennifer Lopez got old enought that it wasn't creepy for us to be watching her all the time.

As for these people who "feel" stuff, the person who said they're just more observive is correct. So you broke your arm, you've also experienced a great loss in your life haven't you? I'm thinking that it was with someone with the letter "E" in their name too wasn't it? I'm not phsycic, its just that most people have experienced loss in their life and E is a very common letter. Do more stuff like this as well as getting a few lucky guesses and you're suddenly this deep mystic with powers that no one else has.

i've been hearing a big uproar in the media about schools banning harry potter books, and parents who refuse to let their kids read it, etc.

what's the big deal?!

when i was growing up, we had bewitched, i dream of jeannie, casper, etc.

People are generaly very dumb when it comes to their versions of what's holy and of anything that threatens that vision in any way, shape, or form. That's why Harry is so hated by religous nutjobs. Think about it, if someone spends so much of their time and life pursuing something (dad and I) that can NOT be proven (other than me posting here, of course) other than "feelings" that they may have about something they'll be very protective of other imaginary things that they think may somehow hurt their imaginary friends.

Right, yet believing any paranoid rambling that contains absolutely no verifiable information that happened to someone's aunt's brother's friend's hairstylist's nurse's distant cousin's neighbor's mailman's bank teller, now that's reliable and I'm never going to smell any perfume again so I don't die from these mean old terrorists!!!

Wow, where can I possibly sign up to receive such reliable information?!?!?!

Even more important than reading this would be to check to see if this is an urban legend before spreading it even further. Please verify the source of these sort of things before posting it to a discussion group or emailing it to others. It sounds like your land lord is a gullible idiot who will believe anything.

If this really were true the media would be all over it. They've made much bigger deals over much smaller things.

Yes, and what does moderate Islam have to do with terrorist attacks? The middle eastern doctor down at the hospital has about as much to do with the bombings on NYC, the Pentagon, and Pen. as I do with the price of cow patties in India. Moderate Islamics do not constitute a cause and neither do they take credit for the deaths of innocent people. They're as repulsed by it as you. Just because a person happens to be a member of a very mainstream religion that has millions, if not billions, of peaceful followers that does not mean that they're out for blood of all people who are not and anyone who thinks so is a biggoted idiot. Go out and talk to some of them and you'll see that they hate the acts as much as you do.

Notice, I'm not defending Islam as much as I am defending the people who practice it. All religions are man made attempts to get closer to dad and unneeded. That doesn't mean that the people that practice a peaceful version of religion are horrible and violent though.

A lot of people that do really horrible things wear shoes. The people who have committed some of the worst atrocities in the history of human kind did so while wearing shoes. In fact, just about anyone who ever did anything to me that was bad wore shoes on a regular basis. If you ask me, we should start nuking all shoe factories and stores. I'll only change my mind when I see shoe manufacturers denounce the acts on national news. That will, of course, have about as much chance of making the news as my wiping my ass because such boring acts hardly ever make the news but who cares. I'm too lazy to go out and find the truth of the stance of the leaders so I'll just make snap judgements based on my very limited knowledge of shoe wearers world wide.

Do I sound like an idiot? Not as big as some people who have posted on this thread.

lol lol just laughed my head off, there a special dance mat you can get for playing games called "dance-em-ups"!!!.

Oh yeah, I just remembered most of you probably don't know what I meant when I said I have a "chipped" PS1. PS games are just black CD's. You can copy CD's. Unfortunately, you can't play copied CD's on just any ordinary PS. You have to go out, buy a special CHIP, open your PS, and solder it on at various places. If you can do that without screwing up your system (I've seen it happen) you can play copied games on any PS out there (old or new design). Total cost to have someone who knows what they're doing buy one and put it in for you is usually around $50 or so but it pays for itself real quick. The only downside is that you can't use cheap CD-R's for your copies for some reason that I can't remember right now.

Also, PS2's just use DVD's. If you have a DVD burner you do the same process as the PS1 and be able to play copied games on your PS2. I know there's a chip out there that doesn't require soldering for the PS2 but you have to use a special boot disk whenever you're playing a burned game

I know there are similiar setups for Sega Dreamcast's and Nintendo 64's because I have friends that have got them but I can't say anything about X-Box because I just don't know enough about it. The N64 is cartidge based so you have a special base that goes where a normal game would and then you put in a ZIP disk that has the game. Its an ok setup for transferring games over the net but a pain to copy that cartrdge you just rented at Blockbuster.

If anyone is interested in learning more just do a search for "mod chip" plus whatever system you have on Google and you'll find plenty of information out there.
